A. Network Connection from Machine to Sensor:


1. Using PoE Injector for Single Unit Sensor



2. Using PoE Switch for multiple units connected to a single switch


>> Illustration above shows for simple connection from machine to sensor in order to configure it locally. On actual site, Machine port will be replaces with Internet Connection in order to get the sensor connected to cloud.


Default Network Settings:

IP - 192.168.1.168

Subnetmask - 255.255.255.0

Gateway - 192.168.1.1




B. Sensor Configuration Page


1. General Settings


a. Region

a.1 Country - select the country where the sensor was installed.

a.2 Power Frequency - by default, set to 50Hz

a.3 Language - English

a.4 Measuring Unit - Metric (cm)

b. Date & Time

b.1 Time Zone - Asia/Kuala_Lumpur

b.2 Use Time Server - Checked

b.3 Primary Time Server - pool.ntp.org

b.4 Secondary Time Server - time.google.com    

b.5 Act as time server - Checked


c. Network Identification

c.1.1 Name - Site Name

c.1.2 Group - Company Name


>> for IPv4 Setting, configuration will be followed based on client's network requirements.

>> Disable IPv6 since sensor is configured using IPv4 settings.


2. Image Setup

Go to Setting > under 'Singlesensor Settings > Image Setup


a. Draw floor mask: Cover the whole visible floor for best tracking results. Avoid drawing the floor mask over objects such as tables, flower pots or stairs.

b. Draw taboo mask: Masked areas are ignored for image processing. Use carefully! To suppress tracks in specific areas use exclusion masks in the 'Scene Configuration'.

c. Draw illumination mask: Disturbing light sources can optionally be covered with illumination masks.


>> After any change in the image setup, the sensor will compile a new recalibration algorithm that need to be applied manually in the recalibrations menu.




3. Calibration


Go to Setting > under 'Singlesensor Settings > Mounting Height & Tilt


a. Set the actual height from sensor position to floor into the 'Sensor Mounting Height' field.

b. Select Automatic in the 'Tilt Setup Mode' if the sensor happen to be mounted at an angle.

c. Recommend to Overwrite the 'Live Tile Measured by the sensor' in order to get the latest tilt angle measurement.

d. Press Save once done.


e. After done with the Mounting Height & Tilt setting, go to Recalibration and apply the recalibration. Sensor will auto calibrate 





4. Countline/Countzone


Go to Scene Configuration > Select 'Add Logic +'

a. For Enter/Exit Count, select 'Draw Line' Button

b. For Multiple People Tracking at a particular Zone, select 'Draw Zone' Button



c. After draw the line/zone, name the Geometry and select the Logic Type

- Person Count In/Out

- Person Count Late

- Group Count In/Out

- Group Count Late

- Legacy Count In/Out

- Legacy Count Late

- None




 


d. Newly added line/zone can be configured with the necessary settings

e. To count data for adult and children;

e.1 Set Minimum Height to 105cm for Adult

e.2 Set Maximum Height to 105cm for Children 



f. If the same line/zone would like to have multiple logic, just select the line/zone from the camera view and then press the 'Add New Logic +' Button to merge multiple logic into the same line/zone



C. Data Push


Go to Setting > under 'Singlesensor Settings' > Data Push  > Press 'Add New Connection +' button


a. Name the new Connection

b. Protocol - HTTP/HTTPS

c. Server URL - http://xovis-data.gotapway.com/

d. Port - 443/80

e. SSL/TLS enable - enable

f. Authentication Mode - None



f. After defining the Server Report, Press 'Add New Agent +' button for Data Delivery Protocol.

g.1 If want data to be push to server report on every occured event, create Live data Push

g.2 If want data to be push to server report by schedule, create Logic Push

h. for Logic Push configuration;

h.1 Connection - Select the connection that was made previously
h.2  schedule type - Periodic

h.3 Interval - 1 minute

h.4 Data Format - Pretty Format Checked

h.5 Time Format - UNIX Time MS

h.6 Package Resolution - 1 minute

h.7 Package Size - 1

h.8 Retry Mode - Drop

h.9 Data Filtering - If want to push all data, select All. Else select Custom and check only those data that required.


D. Remote Access Management


Go to Setting > under 'General Settings' > Remote Connection > Press 'Add New Connection +' button

Fill in the following:


Hostname/IP Address - xovis.cloud
Port - 443

SSL - Checked

Trusted certificates only -Checked

Sensor connection token - 14ab308f2fd0f493b97d1efbef2f04d5
